3 Tips to Slow Down at Meal Time

Savor Each Bite

Take the time to fully experience the flavors, textures, and aromas of your food.

Slow down, chew mindfully, and engage all your senses. By savoring each bite, you'll not only enhance your enjoyment of meals but also become more attuned to your body's hunger and fullness cues.

Practice Gratitude

Before each meal, take a moment to express gratitude for the nourishment you're about to receive.

Cultivating a mindset of gratitude can help shift your focus away from restrictive or negative thoughts about food and towards appreciation for its nourishing qualities.

Mindful Portions

Pay attention to portion sizes and serve yourself moderate amounts of food. Use smaller plates and bowls to help control portions, and check in with your hunger and fullness cues throughout the meal.

Remember, it's about finding a balance that honors both your body's needs and your enjoyment of food.
